Each member brings unique experience in areas such as rehabilitation, mental health support, education, employment services, and community outreach. United by the belief that everyone has the potential to rebuild their lives, we collaborate to deliver tailored support — from prison to community, from vulnerability to empowerment.

Norma is a is a founding member of PLIAS Resettlement. Norma has played a significant and prominent role in the strategic development and growth of the organisation.
Norma has over 20 years’ experience of working in local government bringing together experience from a broad spectrum of areas, with particular emphasis of actively promoting measures which reduces inequalities between sections of the local community. She has worked closely with the voluntary and community sector and has developed and coordinated various activities, working closely from Government offices to ensure that BAME voluntary organisations are included in participation, representation and consultation.
Norma worked for various local authorities which includes Brent, Waltham Forest and Watford. She was a member of the Baroness Young and David Lammy Reviews and a member of the Ministry of Justice Advisory Board on Female Offenders. She served as a Board Member of Clinks an infrastructure organisation which represents and campaigns for the voluntary sector working with offenders and worked on Clinks’ Race for Justice Campaign to comprehensively help ex-offenders and ex-prisoners become active and legal participants in society.
Norma has a First-Class BA (Hons) Degree in Criminology and was awarded The Tony Rhodes award by the Health and Social Sciences Faculty for the best overall performance in Community Management – University of Bedfordshire


Jacqueline A. Hinds is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Specialist with over 30 years of knowledge, skills, and expertise working within key corporate, healthcare, public and third sector organisations. Jacqueline is multifaceted working across a range of areas within Leadership as well as projects pertaining to The Phoenix Project (P&ACT), stepping up against domestic abuse in churches and supporting domestic abuse and violence against women and young girls. She is currently an expert panel member working on domestic homicide reviews. She been involved in Women’s Ministries for many years and has been regularly delivering her Women of Faith Programme and other workshops/seminars to women in the community and church women’s ministry leads, disseminating her specialism in Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence as part of their development and upskill, whilst they fellowship, network and support one another along their respective Faith journeys.

A finance professional with over 30 years’ experience in the corporate and charity sector. She is a Chartered Accountant (FCCA) and also a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Currently the Head of Finance at Community Action Sutton, a charity which provides infrastructure, capacity building support and voice to VCSEs in the London Borough of Sutton. Dun is passionate about equality, social justice, and financial sustainability of VCSE organisations and is pleased she has the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the amazing work PLIAS does.

Kirsty Atek is a community-driven individual who actively participates in local initiatives and volunteers regularly. With her extensive experience in customer service and fundraising, she brings her valuable skills to the team to achieve organisational goals.
